The degree programme lasts three years and, on average, students spend two days and a half in the laboratories for practical works. Besides, there is a strong emphasis on the close contacts with industry through many internship opportunities, as well as lectures and presentations. Project management skills are also built up through first-year and second-year personal projects. From the beginning of the first year each student is individually tutored and counselled to draw up and develop their career plan. Each student also benefits from the expertise of senior chemists or Human Resources managers involved in specialized organizations collaborating with ENSCMu.
