Sports: there are plenty of opportunities to practise sports in Mulhouse. The university gym, swimming-pool and ice-rink are on campus or very close. ENSCMu students have their own teams (football, rugby, cheerleading…) and events organized by the BDS (Bureau des Sports, a student association). They are also involved in many campus activities.

Cultural activities and entertainment:
La Filature, a major regional cultural centre, offers a wide range of activities such as concerts, ballet, drama, exhibitions. There is also a theatre (Théâtre de la Sinne), and outstanding technical and industrial museums, plus many cinemas. The Noumatrouf where concerts are organized, is popular with young people.
Students can access all these activities for free or at a reduced rate thanks to the Carte Culture delivered by the university.

ENSCMu students can join numerous associations and clubs run by the BDE (Students’Union). This association organizes extra curricular activities such as cultural societies (photography club, street art, drama …..), sporting events (competitions, skiing trips…..) but also social events and parties (the annual gala « Bal de Chimie », Welcome Week…..). This is a vital part of student life, an opportunity to engage in a wide range of social activities and to get to know your fellow students from different “promos” (classes).
