Professor Jean-Philippe Goddard will be the new director of ENSCMu for a five-years period; the last director was Jocelyne Brendlé. The Official Journal issued the decree on December 23, 2021.
Jean-Philippe Goddard is a University Professor at UHA (University of Upper Alsace) and has been teaching at ENSCMu since 2013. He also is a honorary member of the Academic Institute of France (2015 class). Having been involved in ENSCMu’s school life since 2014, as an elected member of the school board, he was elected at the board of directors of UHA in 2021.
Besides his administrative and teaching responsabilities, Jean-Philippe Goddard manages a research team consisting of 10 people at the Molecular Innovation and Applications Lab, which he contributed to the creation of in 2018 and which he became the assistant director of. Lastly, he has been an auditor since 2020 at the high-level institute of company studies whose goal is to improve relationships between society and companies.
While applying for the position of director of ENSCMu, Jean-Philippe Goddard has committed to devoting his work experience, his human qualities and his energy to succeeding in this goal. Being passionate about rugby, he knows that relationships with other people are important; they are part and parcel of his approach to create new momentum for ENSCMu, an initiative aimed at bringing the school more exposure and more attractiveness. His wish is to focus on the human being when it comes to concerns and to enable everyone to be acknowledged for one’s skills and one’s devotion regarding ENSCMu’s growth.
