On the first day of March 1822, the chemistry class which ENSCMu stems from started. The school will be 200 years old: the celebration regarding that event will begin the first day of March, and it will go on throughout the year. The school director, staff and students welcomed communities’ representatives, school partners and members of the board in order to begin this meaningful year and more precisely the Chemistry Week that will take place from March, 1st to March, 6th.
The new game “Chemical Links” developers team talked about their project and enabled the visitors to test their knowledge of chemistry. The public release of the game will start on March, 7th.
Visitors also were able to attend the “200 years of chemistry: the exhibition” inauguration, a project originating from ENSCMu’s wish to celebrate its 200 years anniversary in 2022. This exhibition’s goal is not to be exhaustive but to outline the history of the school while touching upon several topics: premises, directors, flagships of research, career paths of former students, teaching changes along with university life at ENSCMu. This event which relied on signs was a playful and easy way to visit the school and the signs will be available for other exhibitions in Mulhouse.
